- Town in the province of Soria, modern Spain.
- In medieval times it was a border town on the Castilian side, close to the kingdom of Aragon.
- Ágreda is on the Camino de Santiago, a route which has brought pilgrims from all over Europe to the sanctuary of St. James in Compostela, Galicia. This tradition has been revived, especially in the last twenty years.
